About MORI Architects
MORI Architects is a small practice, specialising in residential architecture, and sustainable living.
Our designs are informed by a wealth of experience in sustainable construction and renovation, so they are not only aesthetically beautiful, but practical, well planned, and matched to your budget.
We aim to create spaces that both reflect and enhance the lives of the people who inhabit them.
Living Spaces
We are great believers in ergonomic design and the first step in that process is always good listening - understanding how you live - your hopes and aspirations for your home.
We delight in creating beautiful, practical spaces, that are uniquely suited to the people who live in them.
Sustainable by design
At the heart of everything we do is a commitment to environmentally conscious architecture. An expert working knowledge of sustainable design, materials, and construction methods, enables us to provide practical advice at every stage of the process – from initial concept, all the way through to completion.
Location and context
We are highly experienced at working within the conservation area and World Heritage Site of Bath, though our projects range as far afield as Nottinghamshire, Sussex and Dorset.
Each design is informed by its location, making the most of views, orientation, local materials, and natural elements. We use both modern construction techniques and traditional craftsmanship to create contemporary schemes that sit perfectly in their context.
On your side
Any building project is a large undertaking, especially when that project is your home, and an innovative design is just the start of the process.
Having the right architect on your side can make an enormous difference to the entire build. We have an established network of reliable contractors. We also act as advocates for our clients throughout the build - managing contracts, mediating with builders, and making sure that the finished build is every bit as good as the original idea.
